            Tom                 Greg

            Harry              Jordan

Clacton H4L A Squad:

Kyle Thompson Greg Lark Tom Nicks Harry Walden Jordan Ovenden Robbie Ratcliffe
This tournament was held at Braintree, a venue where Clacton have never played before. This tournament was 6 a-side instead of 7, which didn't matter as Clacton only had 6 players. Greg, Tom, Harry, and Robbie were pleased to welcome back goalkeeper Kyle who missed the previous tournament through injury, and midfielder Jordan who hadn't played since October. Kyle had very little work to do and only conceded 1 goal, in the 0-1 defeat to Colchester. Clacton came out 2nd best in the tournament are still top of the league with 36 points, 3 points clear of Tendring who came out 3rd and Colchester who came out best and are above Tendring on goal difference.

Match Reports

Tendring Mental Health                 2-0                   Harry, Robbie

Clacton had dominated the game in February but went behind. Luckily Harry found a late equaliser to end the score 1-1 and deny Tendring the win. Again Clacton looked the more threatening side, and this time Harry opened the scoring. With the score only 1-0, Clacton were desperate to increase their lead and Robbie also found the net to seal the victory for Clacton.

Disability 4 Sport A                          1-0                   Greg

It had ended 1-1 in February, Robbie opened the scoring but D4S found an equaliser from a mistake by Greg. Clacton dominated this game but D4S defended very well and Clacton were finding it hard to score. However, Tom won a free kick some way out which Greg, who has a very powerful shot took. The ball went past the defence and through the keeper's legs, giving Clacton the lead which they held onto to win the game.

Porters A                                            3-0                   Robbie x2, Jordan

A single goal from Robbie had won the game for Clacton in February. Clacton's goal scoring record is best against Porters and this time it ended 3-0 instead of 1-0, with Robbie scoring the first two goals and Jordan finding a third for his first goal of the season.

Colchester H4L A                             0-1

Tom had scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory in the previous tournament. This time the final score was the same, just the other way round. Kyle was unlucky to see a shot go just past him and in off the post. Clacton fought hard to try and find an equaliser but having already played 3 games they didn't have much energy left and it ended in defeat.
