Urology and Continence Services

The service provides:

  • Assessment and conservative treatment of continence, bladder and bowel problems, at nurse led continence clinics or in client homes.
  • Assessment and conservative treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms in men, at nurse led prostate/lower urinary tract symptom clinics
  • Teaching intermittent self catheterisation to clients
  • Assessment, provision and review for home delivery of continence products 
  • Patient education and health promotion Education and advice to health professionals, social care providers and members of the public.
